After breakfast last minutes shopping for Everest View Trek and Packing. After lunch at 2PM drive from Kathmandu Hotel to Manthali Airport (Ramechhap), it takes 4 hours of scenic journey through the hilly terrain, country side of life styel. The jounrey passing through southeast of Araniko and BP highway offers beautiful views. 

14 Days 2835 m. Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner Guest House

Flight from Manthali Airport to Lukla Airport (2840m/9,315ft) around 15 minutes and trek to Phakding (2610m/8,560ft) 3 hours OR Monjo (2,835m/9,299ft) 5 hours. You will catch a glimpse of some great mountains such as Nupla (5,885m/19,302ft) above Kongde Ridge, Kusum Kang (6367m appears on the right a little later. All along you will be following the northern (left) bank of the Dudh Kosi River. It is important to take these first few days slowly to enable your body to acclimatize and to enjoy the passing scenery and culture.

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,283ft) 6/4 hours. Namche Bazaar is one of biggest market town in Everest region as Acclimatization place of trekking and expedition. Today it begins on the level ground, relative to the environment in which you are! You will cross the river on a high suspension bridge and begin to climb up to Monjo (2,835m) and on to the gateway to the Sagarmatha National Park Entrance in place to protect and preserve this beautiful environment. There is a good rest stop on the way up to where you will see people gathered, admiring the first real chance to see Everest in the distance. On the way up today, you will be rewarded with views of Kusum Kangaru, Thamserku, Konde-Ri and Tawache Peak than we reach Namche Bazaar.

The trek from Namche Bazaar to Khumjung is a beautiful journey in the Everest region, offering stunning views and cultural experiences of Sagarmatha National Park where we can observe an assortment of things related to the first Everest ascenders, Sherpa culture and learn about the various plant and animal life of the Everest region. Namche Bazaar is the main center of the Everest (Khumbu) region. The trail enjoy panoramic views of peaks like Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Mount Everest in the distance and offering a chance to take in a bird's-eye view of Namche Bazaar. The walking through to Everest View Hotel, you'll pass the Syangboche Airstrip, one of the highest airstrips in the world. The Everest view Hotel offering a fantastic iconic hotel is perched at 3,880M, and is famous for its stunning panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. The trail leading to known as the "Green Village" due to the green roofs of its houses Khumjung Village.

Trek from Khumjung Village to Tengboche Monastery (3,867m/12,687ft). Today your journey starts with excellent views of Ama Dablam and Everest among others along the way through. From Sanasa trail descends to Phunki Thanga from where you have a 2-hour climb to Tengboche Monastery, one of the biggest Monasteries in Solu Khumbu region. You will come to a stone gate which marks the entrance to Tengboche, the religious center of the Khumbu region offers breathtaking views of Ama Dablam, often referred to as the "Matterhorn of the Himalayas." Tengboche Monastery, also known as Dawa Choling Gompa, is one of the most significant spiritual and cultural landmarks in the Everest region. It is a central highlight for trekkers en route to Everest Base Camp. The Monastery established in 1916, is a key religious site for Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. It belongs to the Nyingma sect. The trekkers and climbers stop here to receive blessings for safe journeys. Surrounded by the majestic Himalayan peaks, including Ama Dablam, Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse. The view of Ama Dablam from Tengboche is iconic.

The first day of the Mani Rimdu Festival at Tengboche Monastery is known as the Wong or (Wang) Ceremony — the empowerment day. It marks the official beginning of the three-day public celebration, which usually draws a large gathering of Sherpa villagers and trekkers from around the world.
The first day is dedicated to purifying negative karma, opening the mind for spiritual realization, and receiving blessings. It also marks the spiritual empowerment of the community, as locals believe these blessings bring peace, harmony, and protection for the year ahead.

The second day of the Mani Rimdu Festival at Tengboche Monastery is the most colorful, dramatic, and public part of the celebration. It is devoted to the sacred mask dances, known as “Chham”, performed by monks in elaborate costumes. This day is both spiritually symbolic and a grand cultural display, drawing large crowds of locals and international trekkers.

Monks wear vibrant silk robes, handcrafted masks, and headdresses representing specific deities. The courtyard of Tengboche Monastery becomes a lively stage, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, especially Ama Dablam. Locals gather in traditional attire, offering food, tea, and blessings to one another.

Trek from Tengboche to Monjo Village (2635m) 6/7 hours, is a beautiful and moderately challenging segment of the Everest Base Camp Trek, descending through lush forests, picturesque villages, and alongside the Dudh Koshi River. Early in the visit to the Tengboche Monastery, the largest in the khumbu region, offering breathtaking views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. The trail descends steeply through rhododendron forests to Phunki Tenga, a small settlement near a suspension bridge. After crossing the river, a moderate uphill climb leads to Kyangjuma, with panoramic views of the Himalayas with continues through to Namche Bazaar. The final stretch involves a gradual descent through pine forests, passing through small villages like Jorsale, before reaching Monjo, located at the edge of Sagarmatha National Park.

The trek from Monjo to Lukla Airport (2,840m) 5 hours, marks the final leg of the Everest region of Mani Rimdu Festival. It’s mostly a descent through picturesque villages, suspension bridges, and forested trails, though there are some challenging uphill sections. The final stretch involves a gradual ascent to Lukla, passing through villages and celebration of appreciation and create lasting memories with Guide and Potters.
